Associates
Who is an associate?
RNDM Associates include women and men, single and married who have had a close connection with the Congregation for many years - through their education or their connection in Parish or other ministries. Other Associates are attracted by our Charism, Spirituality and engagement in Mission, and have expressed their desire to be in partnership with us in a particular way. In several provinces and regions, Associates enter a formal process to become part of the RNDM community, without being a vowed member of the Congregation.

There are different styles and focuses of Associate programs based on the different countries. Some Associates become actively involved in the mission of the Sisters by volunteering their services to share in our RNDM ministry in their country of origin or by joining one of our mission countries where there is an urgent need for assistance.

An Australian Associate spent 18 months working in Senegal in the health care field. A young New Zealander spent two years in Kenya, while an Irish Associate offered her services for three months in Central India. In Myanmar, young women share our prayer life and ministries in remote areas working with women and children who have limited access to education and health care. In Australia, the British Isles and New Zealand, Associates support the work of the Sisters through prayer, welcoming returned missionaries, and fundraising efforts.
